That's right TimeSplitters is making a comeback....of sorts, Any self respecting TimeSplitters fan will be aware that the studio that produced it, Free Radical Designs went into administration but was then snapped up by Crytek, even after aquring the the timesplitters brand the higher up execs worried about the series financial viability and had a certain reluctance to do anything with the IP, until Crytek CEO Cevet Yerli Created a petition to create a HD collection if enough interest could be brought in, this endeavour failed however and it was left up to the fans to take things further. You'll be pleased to hear that a part time development team of 35 people are taking weapons, maps and characters from the previous tittles and placing it all into one nice package that will be released on the PC and PS4 with cross platform play, due to the game being developed on Cryengine3 it was feared that Crytek would attempt to stop this from happening but the development team were pleasantly surprised to find that the company have given them the blessing to go ahead, however there is one bit of bad news for the folks who are going to be picking up the Xbox one and that's to do with Microsofts stringent and inflexible certifications preventing it, so it not looking good for the Xboxer's. Anyways i'll be looking forward to flambeing monkey's with my flamethrower again
